Privacy Policy
Feet & Fraction does not collect any data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
What the app stores, and where
Your calculations, tape history, saved projects, memory value and settings are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
When you export or share a tape (CSV, PDF, text or copy), the file goes only where you choose to send it with the iOS share sheet.
Camera
If you use camera measuring, the camera runs only while the measuring screen is open. Apple ARKit processes the image on your iPhone to find surfaces. No photos or video are saved or sent anywhere.
Purchases
The optional Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details, name, email or Apple Account. The app asks Apple's StoreKit on your device whether Pro has been purchased so it can unlock Pro features, including for members of your Family Sharing group. Apple's handling of purchase information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software.
This website
This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, fonts or scripts from other services. Like any web host, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
